Watering System for the Herb Garden
The new shed next to the Herb Garden contains a large water butt and controls for solar-powered pumps to fill the butt from the outfall of the pool and to pump a hose to water the herb garden. We have purchased two RainPerfect Systems which form the basis of the system - they've been tested and work well.
Guy Metcalfe (and Paul) built the foundation for the shed and buried the hose and electrical cable that runs from the shed to the immersion pool. Steve Kingdon of Powderham Sawmills constructed and installed the purpose-built shed.
The solar panels to run the system will be fixed atop the shed and the switch controls installed in the shed in the next two weeks.
